Sunday, October 29, will take place the 27th Venice Marathon.

The departure will take place at about 9:20 am from the town of Stra, the Riviera del Brenta, after covering 42.195 km you will reach the canons of the Seven Martyrs in Riva in Venice.

In the first part of the route runs through an environment rich in historical, cultural and scenic, with numerous Veneto villas overlooking the river. You will walk through Mestre and Marghera and then, crossing the Liberty Bridge, you come to Venice. The athletes run alongside the Giudecca Canal to Punta della Dogana, crossing the Grand Canal to Piazza San Marco Grande until arrival at the Riva dei Sette Martyrs.

The 6,000 normal pectoral available are exhausted but you can still participate by purchasing a chest of solidarity. These can only be bought online and are sold with a surcharge of € 30.00 which will be donated to a charity project that you can choose among those offered.
