This is a unique opportunity to admire, in the beautiful Salone del Ballo del Museo Correr, the creations of Spanish designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada.

The Civic Museums Foundation of Venice and the Department of Citizenship and Culture of the women of the City of Venice celebrated on 8 March with a testimonial, the Madrid-based fashion designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada.

In the hall of the Dance of the Correr Museum in St. Mark’s Square, with its characteristic environment and sumptuous “Empire style”, designed by Lorenzo Santi from 1822 and decorated by Giuseppe Borsato between 1837 and 1838, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada offers models of collection “Spring-Summer 2013″ presented during the parade retrospective of the last edition of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Madrid and exhibited on the occasion on golden mannequins.

It is thirty-one suits that reinterpret the icons dear to Agata – dall’abito “cage” that an “umbrella”, by “heart” to “star” – which has accompanied her 31-year career.

Clothes that animate an imaginative and colorful “dance party” in which the protagonists are the forms, the colors and the genius of this artist, who combines in a completely original glamor, fashion and avant-garde design.

The exhibition will remain open until May 5, 2013 and is included in the ticket price of the Museum as in Venice Card.
