Casa Macchietta opens its door at Fondazione Querini Stampalia

Toys, books, colours and an operator who will take care of your 3 to 6-years old children! This is “Casa Macchietta” the first supervised space for children in a Venetian cultural istitution.

A space suitable for children; where the little ones are cared for by qualified staff members while their parents are studying in the Library, visiting the Museum rooms and temporary exhibitions, and partecipating in cultural events.

Macchietta is the name of of one of the dogs at Querini’s, mentioned in the letters that Elena Mocenigo would write to her husband Andrea Querini in the eighteenth century anf will be adventure companion of our little guests.

At Casa Macchietta children play with art, animated reading, theatre and music. The children will be able to “re-alive” all these activities as grownups in the space and initiative of the Querini Stampalia Foundation. Little one are in care of Barchetta Blu operators.

The operator speaks Italian, English and French.

Opering hors:Tuesday to Sunday: 1 pm to 6 pm

Cost: 5 euros for no longer than two hours.
