A new exhibition at Correr Museum

In the third centenary of the birth of Francesco Guardi, the last great eighteenth-century landscape painter, the monographic exhibition promoted by the Civic Museums of Venice has as its purpose the setting in light of his complex artistic production, from the early works of lesser-known figure, to the “scene extension in the style of Pietro Longhi, ending with the beautiful views of Venice and the fantastic whims, dating back to the years of maturity and old age.

The exhibition presented at the Correr Museum bear witness with a wealth of loans never before come to Venice, the various stages that make up the whole activity of the painter.

The exhibition at the Correr Museum will be open from September 29 to January 6, 2013 daily from 10 am to 7pm.

It is possible to organize guided visits for groups and schools and also for individuals.
For individual visitors will be able to book a guided tour on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays at 11 am (reservations recommended).
