How to reach us

If you wish to stay in gorgeous rooms in the heart of Venice, enjoying all the comforts of a hotel, the Room Rentals at Al Canal Regio are your best choice.

They are located in the typical Venetian district of Cannaregio, just a few minutes away from the ferry line that stops along the Canal Grande and continues on to Saint Mark’s, with its famous large square, its historical cafes, extraordinary basilica and gothic profile of the Ducal Palace.

By Train Once you arrive at the Santa Lucia train station, take the ferry (line 1) at the dock located just a few meters away from the stairway in front of the station; get off at the Cà D’Oro stop and take a 3-minute walk: descend from the boat landing and turn left, make a right immediately after the first bridge and proceed for 20 meters towards Fondamenta San Felice, then take the first calle (street) on the left. Once there, you will see the entrance to Al Canal Regio.

By Plane

From Venice’s ‘Marco Polo’ International Airport, take the Alilaguna shuttle to the Fondamenta Nuove station, and take a 10-minute walk to reach your room at Al Canal Regio. Alternatively, take the bus (line 5) to Piazzale Roma, and then take the ferry (line 1) to the Cà D’Oro stop; from here, follow directions in the “By Car” section.

By Car

From the highway’s toll booths (coming from both Milan and Trieste), take the “tangenziale” (ring road) and follow signs to Venice (Venezia); once you arrive at Piazzale Roma, park your car at one of the public parking facilities and take the ferry (line 1) to the Cà D’Oro stop. Continue on foot for a 3-minute walk: descend from the boat landing and turn left, make a right immediately after the first bridge and proceed for 20 meters towards Fondamenta San Felice, then take the first calle (street) on your left, keep going and then turn right at the middle of the calle, once there, you will see the entrance to Al Canal Regio.

Starting from the rooms at Al Canal Regio you may quickly reach the Fondamenta Nuove, starting point for boat rides to visit the glassworks of Murano and the colorful houses of the island of Burano, where you can admire masterpieces made of lace.

Al Canal Regio is a convenient starting point to reach Palazzo Vendramin Calergi – which hosts the Venice’s Casino – and the district of Rialto, where, below the famous bridge, in the clubs of the Erbaria, Venice come alive at night, and where shopping takes center stage at the Mercerie.
