How to reach us

BY TRAIN:

From the “Santa Lucia” train station, continue on foot on the left hand side of Lista di Spagna and, after the bridge: Ponte delle Guglie, you will find Hotel Alle Guglie a few metres later. Water transport lines also stop outside the station. Take vaporetto N° 42 or N° 52 to the “Guglie” stop or N° 1 or N° 2 to the “S.Marcuola” stop. Hotel Alle Guglie is in Rio Terà San Leonardo 1522, just a short walk from both stops.

BY PLANE:

Those arriving at Venice – Tessera’s Marco Polo Airport or Treviso’s Canova Airport can reach the “Piazzale Roma” terminal by taxi or with the special shuttle bus. From here take vaporetto N° 42 or N° 52 to the “Guglie” stop or N° 1 or N° 2 to the “S.Marcuola” stop. Hotel Alle Guglie is in Rio Terà San Leonardo 1522, just a short walk from both stops.

You can also reach Hotel Alle Guglie directly from Venice’s Marco Polo Airport by taking the Alilaguna orange line vaporetto to the “Guglie-GUG” stop or by private water taxi.

BY CAR:

From the A4 or A27 motorway, take the Mestre exit and follow the ring road (tangenziale) towards Venice. After “Ponte della Libertà” you will come to “Piazzale Roma”, where you can park your car in the “San Marco” Garage right next to Piazzale Roma, which offers special prices for guests at our hotel.

From the carpark take vaporetto N° 42 or N° 52 to the “Guglie” stop or N° 1 or N° 2 to the “S.Marcuola” stop. Hotel Alle Guglie is in Rio Terà San Leonardo 1522, just a short walk from both stops.

BY FOOT:

“Easy arrival and departure”

Venice’s 3-star Hotel Alle Guglie is situated in the historic centre and is very easy to reach both on foot and by vaporetto. It is located in an excellent position for visiting Venice’s artistic and cultural centre, which is just a few minutes’ walk away, and for completely experiencing the fascinating and unique daily life of the city and its inhabitants.

From Piazzale Roma, cross the new Calatrava bridge over the Grand Canal, past the Santa Lucia train station and the Lista di Spagna and across the Ponte delle Guglie bridge over the Cannaregio Canal. Just a short distance from here, on the right, is the elegant Venetian home that contains our hotel.

Hotel Alle Guglie is in the city quarter of Cannaregio, which has important tourist itineraries and sights such as Palazzo Cà Vendramin Calergi, home of the Venice Casino, the Jewish ghetto with its museum and synagogues, Palazzo Labia, the churches of Santa Lucia, San Geremia, San Marcuola and the Madonna dell’Orto and the Cà Doro Museum. Just a ten-minute walk brings you onto the picturesque Strada Nuova, full of bars, shops and restaurants, from which you can reach the Rialto Bridge and the marvellous St. Mark’s Square.
