How to reach us

The strategic, very central position of Hotel Garibaldi in relation to the main roads and highways that connect Mestre to Venice, Padua, Treviso and the Brenta Riviera makes this one of the best hotels in Mestre. Private parking and the hotel garage allow you to park your car and conveniently travel by bus (stop in front of the hotel), providing an excellent service from the hotel with numerous lines to Venice, the railway station and the airport.

A STROLL FROM THE WONDERS OF VENETO…

You can arrive to Venice in 15/20 minutes with the no. 2 bus (the same bus can bring you to the railway station) which passes every 10 minutes until late evening. At night, the N1 and N2 services stop 200 meters from Hotel Garibaldi and guarantee you a connection to Venice and Mestre. The bus terminal is in Piazzale Roma. From here you can start the classic tourist itineraries or get on a vaporetto boat to St. Mark’s, the Biennale Gardens, Murano, Lido etc., all uniquely beautiful and picturesque areas.

The Brenta Riviera is 15 minutes away by car. It is the road along the Brenta canal, which is still navigated today, which winds from Venice to Padua in rows of wonderful villages, parks and amazing villas, the once summer residences of Venetian nobles. Among these, Villa Foscari – La Malcontenta by Palladium and Villa Pisani, with a garden setting and frescos by Tiepolo.

Padua is just 20 km away and you can arrive there in 20 minutes on the A4 highway. Worth seeing, Il Santo, the splendid basilica and sanctuary of St. Anthony, an incomparable work of art and devotion by great artists, including Donatello, and Scrovegni Chapel, a masterpiece by Giotto;

In Treviso, this wonderful, walled medieval city from the sixteenth-century is 16 km away. You can arrive in 10 minutes from the highway (A27 for Belluno and Cadore) or by taking the Terraglio, a Napoleonic avenue which is overlooked by numerous, noble villas.

HOW TO ARRIVE

By plane

From Marco Polo Airport in Venice (8 km away) take the bus shuttle for Mestre and get off at the railway station. From here take the no. 2 bus which arrives in front of the hotel in 5 minutes, Hotel Garibaldi stop. We are in front of the stop.

From Treviso Airport (30 km away) take the ATVO shuttle for Mestre and get off at the railway station. From here take the no. 2 bus which arrives in front of the hotel in 5 minutes, Hotel Garibaldi stop. We are in front of the stop.

By train

In front of the Venice Mestre railway station take the no. 2 bus and get off after 5 minutes in Viale Garibaldi, Hotel Garibaldi stop. We are in front of the stop.

By car

From the A4 and A27 highways exit and follow the signs for the Tangenziale – Mestre/Centro. Take the tangenziale (bypass) and exit at Via Castellana. On the roundabout follow the signs for the Centro. Once you pass the flyover, follow the signs for the city center. At the first traffic light take a right onto Viale Garibaldi (you are now in a limited traffic zone with access permitted to hotel guests). Drive for 200 meters where you will find Hotel Garibaldi on the left at no. 24.In the center of Mestre, in the limited traffic area and at the beginning of the pedestrian area, Hotel Garibaldi enjoys the tranquility of a residential area and the convenience of services offered in the heart of this historic center, all just a stroll from the hotel. There is a pleasant walk along Via Palazzo and in Piazza Ferretto, with an unusual long shape and with the characteristic Clock Tower, the only remains of an ancient, medieval castle. With lively cinemas, all sorts of shops and boutiques, restaurants and pizzerias, this area is ideal for anyone on business in the city or for those of you wishing to set up base in Mestre to visit Venice and surrounding attractions.
