Your kids will get crazy to see hundreds of colorful butterflies fly freely. Behind the Euganean Hills, Abano Terme, the Butterfly House and the Forest of the Fairies stand, enchanted places that immerse your child in the rainforests of the Amazon, Africa and Asia. Here live and fly 400 of the most beautiful butterflies of the world, in all their stages of development: egg, caterpillar, chrysalis and butterfly.

Workshops, exhibitions and museums, butterflies world’s most famous, the Garden of Eden, video rooms, a tropical greenhouse: step by step the visit turns into a real leap in time and continents, strange insects and plants that does not happen so easily to see you again. There seem to go back in time when you enter the Forest of the Fairies , a magical place among the legends, orcs, goblins and fairies to the ancient maze of rocks. Do you move from magic to Aquatic, the exhibition dedicated to the water where you can meet the fearsome piranhas and other curious inhabitants of the rivers of the Brazilian rainforest. A place where you return children for a few hours , in symbiosis with nature and creation.

The Butterfly House and the Forest of the Fairies are Via degli Scavi 21bis. They are open daily from March to May and from June to November 17; closed on Mondays . Visiting hours are as follows: 9.30am-4pm solar time, summer time 9:30 to 5:30pm. For information www.butterflyarc.it.

At few minutes you can find also Esapolis, the living museum of insects (Via dei Colli 28 , Padua): 2,500 square meters of exhibition space, a path that tells the culture of the silkworm , the world of bees and other entomi, display cases in which see many insects, including spiders, beetles , scorpions and insects. Esapolis is open from April to September, Tuesday to Friday from 9.30 am to 12 am and from 2.30 to 5.30pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 9.30am to 5pm.
