The Italian landscape at Istituto Veneto show until May 12, 2013

The photographer Maurizio Galimberti presents at Palazzo Franchetti, home of the Institute of Sciences, Letters and Arts, a retrospective exhibition consists of more than 150 images from the early ’90s to today.

The result of the work is truly extraordinary and provides the viewer a vision of the Italian landscape, taken through all forms of expression dall’Istant Artist experimented with his Polaroid.

The Polaroid, thanks to the many expressive possibilities tested, become treasure trove of endless visions, allowing a re-reading and a rediscovery of the places in our country absolutely unexpected. Architecture, city, landscape become pieces of mosaics are in front of the surprised look of the visitor.

The author experienced the world premiere of the film Impossibile, first copy in black and white images, giving surprising and unconventional photos.

The exhibition consists of sections Single, Mosaics, Ready-made and Handling perhaps the most surprising section in which the action takes place on the photos for variable levels of intensity: sometimes it is a blur that surrounds the observation data hiding them, other times of real interventions, Pop flavor, masking the subjects.
