Season Preview

Alessandro Gassman is conferming, with his 2011-2012 schedule, great freshness of ideas and attention for all the “publics”. The growing attention for the New Dramaturgy is finding its crowning glory in the two new performances presented as a preview to the season in that language workshop which is «Goldoni InOff»: Wordstar(s), from a text by Vitaliano Trevisan, and L’Infinito by Tiziano Scarpa, directed and interpreted by Arturo Cirillo.

From the 23rd until the 30th of September at the Teatro Verdi, Padua, there will be the second edition of Premio Off: a mini-event, dedicated to contemporary theatre companies, constructed on the model of Fringe international festivals. For the Goldoni season, we find on the schedule spectacles such as La Sirena by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa with Luca Zingaretti, and exhiliarating comedies like L’astice al veleno by Vincenzo Salemme.

But also Barboni by Pippo Delbono, classics like Signorina Giulia, L’avaro and Il giardino dei ciliegi; the highly-awarded L’ingegner Gadda va alla guerra; Snowshow by Slava and, last but not least, a tribute, in vitam, to Franca Valeri who interprets Non tutto è risolto.
