Free Falling

Free Falling is the title of the exhibition organized with the support of The Hart Foundation, a project created to help emerging artists to develop their talents. The selection of works by Laurel Holloman is open free of charge, and the Venetian event also has the merit of Emergency and actively support the activities in Sudan.

The exhibition presents a selection of medium and large-sized works crossing through the language of abstract expressionism and the link between nature and human life, aiming at exploring the themes of renewal and spiritual rebirth.
In spite of their abstract quality, Holloman’s paintings include figurative elements that remind of life, nature: a night sky, a waterfall, a sudden ray of sunshine.

The artist is well-known in the United States for her past in film and television, and has recently gained success with her cycle of paintings named Tribeca Series.

Free Falling is therefore a unique opportunity to admire the works of an artist very promising as a highly sensitive color emphasizes the dreamlike and evocative compositions, able to turn easily to anyone stopping to observe.
